Jordan Houston has signed a new contract with Rangers.

Rangers youngster Jordan Houston has posted on Twitter after agreeing new terms with the Scottish giants, signing a contract that will see him remain at Ibrox until the summer of 2020 – and some fans reacted to his post.
The 18-year-old has impressed on the right side of defence in both the Under-18’s and the reserve side under Billy Kirkwood, who is now in his 12th year at Murray Park.
There are high hoped for the Scotland Under-17 international as he continues to impress, with many of the belief that he can break into the first team and follow the example of Ross McCrorie, new Hamburg man David Bates and many more.
Houston posted on Twitter after agreeing a new two-year contract with Steven Gerrard’s side, who himself has shown faith in youth since taking over by handing Glenn Middleton two substitute appearances in his opening two matches.
The right-back has plenty of competition ahead of him, with captain James Tavernier head and shoulders above the rest while the signing of one-time England international Jon Flanagan and Lee Hodson also provides cover.
But Houston will be buoyed by his new deal and will look to continue impressing in the Gers Under-18 and reserve sides throughout the 2018-19 campaign. Some Rangers fans reacted to the news, with many predicting a first-team bow.
