Glasgow Rangers have a very talented young forward at their disposal.

Rangers have a number of exciting young players coming through the ranks and one of them enjoyed an impressive afternoon in front of goal this week, as the Gers academy side overcame Benfica’s next generation 3-2.
Andy Dallas grabbed a brace on the day, outshining a player tipped to be the next big thing in the form of Serge Atakayi.

The latter also found his way onto the score sheet but it was Dallas who made the more significant impact, finding the net twice to help Rangers overcome a very impressive Benfica side.
Dallas will no doubt be hoping to follow in the footsteps of Ryan Hardie and earn a first-team shot at Ibrox, and if he continues on his current trajectory that opportunity could come sooner rather than later.

In time both Dallas and Atakayi should be granted opportunities but it is unlikely that Rangers’ interim boss Graeme Murty will pick the players despite his understandable penchant for giving youth a chance.
For now Rangers need to get back to winning ways and that will mean their more experienced faces stepping up and proving their worth.
For now all Dallas can do is keep scoring and hoping that in time he gets a chance to step up and prove he can cut it on the biggest stage of all.
