Glasgow Rangers winger Jamie Murphy has perhaps become Ibrox’s forgotten man, but he is clearly looking to change that status as soon as possible.

Jamie Murphy has posted a defiant message on Twitter as he continues to work his way back to fitness during Rangers’ mid-season training camp in Tenerife.
Murphy has perhaps become the Gers’ forgotten man since sustaining a long-term knee injury in a League Cup clash with Kilmarnock back in August.
In his absence, Steven Gerrard’s men have put themselves right on the path towards enjoying a superb season. They went into the winter break level on points with Scottish Premiership leaders Celtic after winning the most recent Old Firm game at Ibrox.
And after making some brilliant signings in the January transfer window, Rangers appear to be in with a fantastic chance of ending their wait for the title this season if everything clicks once the season resumes.

It is not clear how Murphy’s recovery is coming along, but there were certainly some encouraging signs this week when photos emerged showing the wide-man working in Tenerife.
And he has now provided an insight into how difficult his comeback is proving. The 29-year-old took to social media to comment on the work he is doing, while the image included in the tweet perhaps provides an indication of how many hours Murphy is putting in to get back out on the pitch as quickly as possible.
