The summer Rangers recruit was allowed to leave Ibrox on loan by Steven Gerrard.

The Rangers winger Jake Hastie has expressed his delight at the way his loan spell has begun.
Hastie only moved to Rangers in the summer transfer window, signing a four-year deal at Ibrox.
But with no shortage of wide players to choose from, the Rangers manager Steven Gerrard sanctioned the 21-year-old’s temporary departure to Rotherham United.
And much like that of Greg Docherty’s at Rotherham’s League One rivals, Shrewsbury Town, last season, Hastie’s spell is going exceptionally well so far.
The Motherwell academy product scored his third goal in three games as the Millers earned a 1-1 draw at Sunderland on Tuesday.
And speaking to BBC Radio Sheffield afterwards, Hastie said: “I’m delighted.
“I’m just trying to get as many goals and assists as I can because I know myself, I’m confident I can come down here and do well. I just need to keep working hard with the boys and hopefully many more will come.”
Hastie is certainly not goal-shy, having found the net 17 times in 78 games for Rangers, Rotherham, Motherwell, Airdrie and Alloa.
But 10 of those strikers have arrived in his last 20 outings.
And asked if he is surprised by his recent form, Hastie replied: “Definitely not, because last year when I came back into the Motherwell side, before I got my move to Rangers, I hit the ground running. I was banging goals in for fun. So why can’t I do it down here?”

Pleasingly for Rotherham fans, Hastie admitted that he is not yet at peak condition.
“I just need to take every game as it comes,” he added. “I’m just getting my sharpness back. Tonight I felt a bit sharper than I did in the last two games. I’m getting fitter and fitter every game. Hopefully I can keep it up and keep doing what I’m doing.”
