Steven Gerrard’s Glasgow Rangers reportedly want to bring Brighton and Hove Albion’s Connor Goldson to Ibrox.

The Argus recently reported that Rangers have had two bids for Goldson turned down by Premier League club Brighton.
According to The Scottish Sun, the Seagulls are holding out for around £2m in order to part company with the 25-year-old central defender this summer.

Pay the £2m?
Goldson is a good defender who has Premier League experience, and the former Shrewsbury Town centre-back would be a smart signing for Rangers in the summer transfer window.
If £2m is all it takes, then the Gers should pay that money and get the deal done as soon as possible.

Rangers do need good and young defenders, and given that Goldson is 25 years of age, the Brighton man can only get better in the coming years.
It would make sense for Rangers to pay Brighton the £2m that they (reportedly) want as transfer fee and get the deal done as soon as possible.
