Graeme Murty’s Glasgow Rangers will reportedly have Gers midfielder Andy Halliday back from Gabala at Ibrox.
It has been reported that a deal has been struck for Halliday to cut short his loan spell at Gabala and return to Rangers.
The 26-year-old joined the Azerbaijani side on a season-long loan deal from the Gers in the summer of 2017.
The former Livingston and Middlesbrough midfielder joined Rangers in the summer of 2015, but the Scotsman failed to impress then-manager Pedro Caixinha in the final weeks of last season and was sent out loan in the summer of 2017.
With Caixinha now gone and Graeme Murty placed in charge of the Gers until the end of the season, Halliday is reportedly set to be given another chance at the Scottish giants.
According to the Scottish Sun, Halliday will return to Scotland and then fly out to the USA with the Rangers squad for their winter training camp.
