Rangers must seriously be regretting letting Billy Gilmour leave Ibrox this summer.

Harry Cochrane helped tear Celtic apart at the weekend for Hearts as he ended the club’s 69 match unbeaten run.
He was once part of Rangers’ academy, before leaving the club at under-13 level. One super talent who got a lot closer to the first team was Billy Gilmour.
Gilmour was regarded as Rangers’ top talent at academy level before quitting to take his chances at Chelsea.
It is a risky move, but Gilmour has impressed for the Blues since making the switch.

For Rangers, Gilmour’s exit was a huge source of frustration, and seeing Cochrane dominate against Celtic just rubbed it in.
Cochrane is thrilling Hearts fans by starring for their first team at just 16-years-old.
Billy Gilmour is also 16, and instead of getting the same chance to star in Rangers’ first team, he is playing in Chelsea’s academy.
Rangers caretaker boss Graeme Murty worked closely with Gilmour in the academy, giving him chances to star for the under-20s last season.
Had the Gers kept him, there is a strong chance he would have been pushing for the first team by now, and seeing what Cochrane has been capable of, shows that the teenager could have had real success at Ibrox.
