Rangers lost 4-0 to Celtic in the Scottish Cup this afternoon.

Rangers lost to Old Firm rivals Celtic yet again on Sunday afternoon, this time being thumped 4-0 in the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup at Hampden Park.
The Gers appeared to be closing the gap to the Bhoys after their performance in the 3-2 defeat at Ibrox last month, but they were dismantled by Brendan Rodgers’ side.
Tom Rogic – a regular goalscorer against the Gers – handed Celtic the lead with a smart right-footed finish, before Callum McGregor pounced on an error from Russell Martin to curl Celtic into a 2-0 advantage.
Rangers’ afternoon went from bad to worse as Ross McCrorie was sent off for hauling down Moussa Dembele inside the penalty area, with the French striker scoring from the spot, before Olivier Ntcham bagged a penalty of his own after Jason Holt had tripped Patrick Roberts.

Celtic waltz into the final with a 4-0 win, and Rangers are left to realise that the gap to their bitter rivals remains huge, with fans reflecting on another mauling at the hands of Rodgers.
During and after the game, Rangers fans took to Twitter to slam the performance of defender Martin, who was signed by interim boss Graeme Murty in a loan deal until the end of the season back in January.
The Norwich-owned defender received huge criticism from fans who want to see Martin leave the club, with supporters offering to pay for his taxi back to Carrow Road, branding his display ‘horrendous’ whilst hoping that he doesn’t sign permanently, with some even suggesting that Martin is worse than former Gers flop Bilel Mohsni.
Others can’t believe Murty rates Martin above Bruno Alves, whilst one fan even felt that Martin is proving he is up with Carlos Pena as one of the worst signings in Rangers history.
