Former Rangers striker Umar Sadiq has suffered a big injury just weeks into his career with La Liga side Real Sociedad.
Gers fans will remember Sadiq as something of a flop following a 2018 move from Roma.
Sadiq arrived on loan as a wildcard option in attack, supporting Alfredo Morelos and experienced hitman Kyle Lafferty.
The Nigerian arrived having shown some potential, especially with five goals in 12 games at NAC Breda.
Sadiq just never really worked out for Rangers though and made just one league appearance for the club.

A dreadful performance in the Scottish League Cup semi-finals against Aberdeen pretty much proved to be the end for Sadiq, with Steven Gerrard sending him back to Roma early.
Imagine the shock from Rangers fans when they saw Sadiq become a goalscoring sensation.
23 goals in 52 outings for Partizan was the start of Sadiq’s run before he then smashed 43 goals in 84 games for Almeria as a replacement for Darwin Nunez.
Real Sociedad struck a deal to sign Sadiq in August, paying €26million (£22.5million) to sign him, replacing Newcastle Untied new boy Alexander Isak in the process.
If you had told Rangers fans that Sadiq would make a £22.5million transfer, they would have thought you were mad.
Sociedad were clearly impressed with Sadiq’s goalscoring ability and he bagged a goal on his debut against Atletico Madrid earlier this month.
Sadiq was substituted just 36 minutes into Sunday’s game against Getafe having suffered a knee injury.
AS note that the fear is that Sadiq has suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament and will therefore miss the rest of the season.
This would be a crushing blow for Sadiq, who has worked so hard to get to the top since his Rangers disappointment.
Let’s hope today’s scan has good news for Sadiq and that he can come back to score goals for Sociedad no matter the outcome.
