He is one of two players the Rangers manager, Steven Gerrard, confirmed he was running the rule over at Ibrox this week.

The Rangers trialist, Andrew Gutman, appears to be heading back to his native United States.
Gutman was pictured alongside fellow American, Matthew Polster, in training with the Rangers first team this week.
And the Rangers boss, Steven Gerrard, later confirmed he was “having a look” at the pair ahead of potential moves.
But in an update on his Instagram story this morning (Friday), Gutman shared a photo of his passport and plane tickets to from Glasgow to Chicago (via Dublin).

Although, whether that signals the end for the left-back’s chances of earning a deal at Rangers, or that he is simply returning home for Christmas, remains to be seen.
Gutman, 22, currently plays for the Indiana University side and was this year named in a best XI of college football players by rival coaches.

Polster, who is three years’ Gutman’s senior, is a right-back for Chicago Fire and the United States national team.
