Rangers manager Mark Warburton is reportedly pursuing a new signing at Ibrox.
According to The Scottish Sun, Rangers manager Mark Warburton is in London for talks with a possible transfer target despite questions over his future.
The Gers manager has been heavily criticised this month, as Rangers first lost 4-1 away at Hearts before labouring to a 1-1 draw against Ross County at Ibrox.

Many Rangers fans now want to see Warburton sacked, either now or at the end of the season, with the Gers now sitting in third place, 27 points adrift of league leaders Celtic.
However, despite question marks over Warburton’s long-term future at Ibrox, it seems that the Rangers boss is hoping to add a new face to his squad.

The Scottish Sun report that Warburton has travelled down to London to hold talks with a potential transfer target, with two possible approaches; either a free agent who can sign immediately, or a player geared towards a summer move.
With Warburton potentially on the chopping block at the end of the season, Rangers may not be too willing to back him with summer signings right now, so a free agent move could be on the cards.
Midfielders Kieran Richardson, Nigel Reo-Coker, Jem Karacan and Raul Meireles are notable free agents right now that could fit the bill, but players without a club in the second half of the season wouldn’t exactly set pulses racing at Ibrox.
One potentially interesting proposition is Beijing Renhe’s Nikica Jelavic, who will become a free agent imminently according to Croatian outlet Dnevno. The former Rangers striker is still just 31, and would give Rangers a proven goalscorer with Joe Garner still struggling for goals.
