Mark Warburton’s Ibrox side were dropped from last year’s version of the popular computer game.

Joey Barton has not had the best couple of weeks but, at last, a silver lining for the Rangers midfielder.
According to the Scottish Sun, he is the Premiership side’s highest-rated player on the latest edition of EA Sports’ popular computer game series, FIFA, which is due out at the end of this month.
Barton, who was today suspended for three weeks by the Ibrox side for his role in an alleged post-Old Firm bust-up, ranks at 76 overall on the latest release.

And Croatian playmaker Niko Kranjcar is not far behind the former Burnley man with a score of 75, which puts the pair in the top five Premiership players on the game.

Captain Lee Wallace is the next highest rated at 73, while new recruits Clint Hill (also 73) and Joe Garner (70) round off the top five.
It has not yet been revealed how the rest of the Light Blues squad fare.
Rangers, who returned to the top flight in August after four years away, were dropped from FIFA 16 because of a licencing disagreement, but had featured in the previous three editions under the Rest of the World section of clubs.
