Steven Gerrard’s Glasgow Rangers reportedly want Liverpool’s Ovie Ejaria at Ibrox next season.

Rangers are reportedly on the verge of bringing Ovie Ejaria from Liverpool to Ibrox, with Sky Sports claiming that Steven Gerrard’s side are close to completing a season-long deal with the Reds.
The 20-year-old midfielder is a hugely promising and talented young player who spent the second half of this past season on loan at Sunderland.
The England Under-21 international scored one goal in nine Championship starts for the Black Cats, who will play in League One next season after getting relegated from the second tier of English football.
Liverpool Under-23 manager Neil Critchley has spoken highly of Ejaria, and his comments outline just what Rangers fans can expect from the English youngster.

Critchley told The Scottish Sun: “Ovie has these real ‘wow’ moments which just make you smile because it’s brilliant to watch.
“When he is faced with a defender, one on one in the penalty area, you sort of feel sorry for the defender because you know there is only going to be one outcome.”
“Ovie is a top player,” added Critchley. “He has played in Liverpool’s first team, which shows you what our manager thinks of him. I’m sure he will get back there again.
“Ovie knows he has got to do a little bit more in terms of his assists and goals, because it’s a way of getting noticed, and getting yourself into the manager’s thoughts.”

Quality footballer
Ejaria has made a handful of appearances for the Liverpool first team, and his performances have been encouraging.
Liverpool legend Gerrard will know about the youngster, who could prove to be a brilliant signing for Rangers for the 2018-19 campaign.
Rangers will be aiming to challenge Old Firm rivals Celtic for the Scottish Premiership title next season.
