Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers have been linked with Jamie Walker, but the Gers target is reportedly set to join Wigan Athletic in the January transfer window.

Rangers were linked with a move for Jamie Walker in the summer of 2017, but a switch to Ibrox did not materialise and now the Heart of Midlothian star seems set to join Wigan Athletic.
According to The Scottish Sun, Rangers were interested in signing Walker from Hearts in the summer of 2017 and made severals bids, all of which were turned by Scottish Premiership rivals Hearts.

The Sunday Post reported last month of the Gers’ interest in signing the former Scotland Under-21 international in the January transfer window.
However, it now seems that Walker, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger, is set to leave Hearts for Wigan Athletic in League One in England.

According to BBC Sport, Walker, whose current contract at Hearts runs out at the end of the season, has had a medical with Wigan.
The Scottish Sun has claimed that the Scotsman will complete his move to the Latics on Monday for a transfer fee of £300,000.
