According to The Chronicle, Dylan McGeouch is out of contract at Sunderland this summer, meaning that Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers could sign him on a free transfer.
Rangers are interested in signing McGeouch in the summer transfer window, according to The Northern Echo.
The report has also claimed that Blackburn Rovers, Aberdeen, Brentford and Queens Park Rangers are keen on the former Celtic midfielder.
McGeouch joined Sunderland in the summer of 2018 after leaving Hibernian at the end of the 2017-18 campaign.
The Chronicle has reported that the 26-year-old signed a one-year contract with the Black Cats in the summer of 2018.
This means that the Scotland international is a free agent this summer, and Rangers will not have to pay any transfer fee to sign the 26-year-old.

It will be interesting if Rangers do sign McGeouch given the midfielder’s Celtic connections.
The midfielder was at Celtic as a youth player from 2005 until 2008 when he left for Rangers, only to return to the Hoops in 2011.
The Scotland international made his professional Celtic debut in November 2011, but he failed to make a massive impact at Celtic Park and left the Bhoys in 2015.
