According to RTV Rijnmond, Rangers target Crysencio Summerville will now be sold by Feyenoord having turned down a new contract.

It’s claimed that Summerville was in talks over a new deal, but has decided that he doesn’t want to stay at De Kuip.

The report notes that ‘the book is closed’ for Feyenoord, and he will ‘leave the club soon’ as Feyenoord want to cash in.

NU add that Summerville has now been demoted to the Feyenoord Under-21’s for refusing to sign a new deal, with sporting director Frank Arnesen commenting on the situation.

“We have agreed on a deadline with each other, with the question whether he will accept our offer or not. He has said that he is going to look for something else and that he is fully within his rights” said Arnesen. “I think it is a great pity that he does not go along with our philosophy for the future,” he added.

Summerville will now seemingly be moved on this summer, and Feyenoord will be losing a huge talent if the situation can’t be salvaged.

The 18-year-old has bagged nine goals across 29 appearances for the Netherlands at youth level, whilst he also notched two goals and three assists on loan ADO Den Haag last season.

Summerville won’t be short of suitors, and Voetbal International reported in July that Rangers are looking to lure the teenager to Ibrox.

Rangers would still stand to add a new right-sided winger, and a speedy wonderkid like Summerville could be an ideal addition – especially now he looks set to leave Feyenoord.
