Oli McBurnie has teased Rangers fans by posing with a rumoured Ibrox target on Instagram.

Rangers are one of the clubs being linked with the left-back, Martin Olsson, by the Swedish newspaper, Expressen.

The 31-year-old was released by the English Championship side, Swansea City, at the end of last season.

It was there that he played alongside the Rangers-supporting Scotland international, McBurnie.

And the pair were reunited in Los Angeles this week, with McBurnie uploading the following image – containing the ‘eyes’ emoji and the Union Flag, commonly associated with Rangers.

Despite having 48 caps for Sweden, it is in English football that Olsson has spent his entire professional career – the bulk of it at Premier League level with Blackburn, Norwich and Swansea.

Should he move to Rangers he would join Borna Barisic, Andy Halliday and Jon Flanagan among Steven Gerrard’s left-back options.
