The young Rangers striker was on target again for the Ibrox side’s reserves, after pleas for Steven Gerrard to call him up.

The Rangers striker Andy Dallas has been described as ‘a joke’ by one of his Ibrox teammates on Twitter.
Already into double figures for goals this season ahead of kick-off, Dallas scored twice as Rangers’ reserves beat Aberdeen 3-0 on Monday afternoon.

And the conversation continued as follows:
Several Rangers fans have called for Dallas to be elevated into Steven Gerrard’s first team plans at various stages this campaign.
But despite having Alfredo Morelos and Kyle Lafferty unavailable for Sunday’s Scottish League Cup semi-final defeat to Aberdeen, the Gers boss chose to overlook the 19-year-old in favour of Umar Sadiq.

A product of Rangers’ academy system, Dallas already has some experience of first-team football, having played five times – and scored twice – for Stenhousemuir last season.
