Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos deserves praise.

Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos’ goalscoring record has prompted plenty of plaudits this season.
The Ibrox fan favourite has 15 goals already this campaign, and the calendar has only just turned November.
He is already halfway to matching his tally last season of 30 goals in all competitions.
Morelos’ goalscoring record last season could have been better. A lot better.
The problem was he missed games due to suspension. He was sent off a staggering five times last season.
He also picked up 11 yellow cards, which also led to missed time. His suspension for the League Cup semi-final was costly.
Heading into this season’s semi-final against Hearts this weekend, Morelos looks to have fixed that part of his game.
He has not been sent off at all this season, and he has only been booked four times.

You can not take the aggression out of his game without limiting his effectiveness, but it was clear that Morelos had not got it under control.
Now he has got on top of it, for now it seems, Morelos deserves credit for turning it around.
So do Steven Gerrard and his coaching staff, and his teammates, who will all have made clear to Morelos that he is no good to Rangers if he is a liability.
He was rightly criticised for his ill discipline, and he now deserves high praise for getting back on track, while keeping his prolific goalscoring edge.
