Jordan Jones had an under-the-radar display for Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers on Sunday.

Jermain Defoe scored a hat-trick, Alfredo Morelos a brace, but Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has acknowledged Jordan Jones’s performance on Sunday too.
The Gers offered a glimpse of their undeniable potential by destroying Hibernian 6-1 at Ibrox yesterday afternoon.
Defoe picked up his first treble since joining Rangers in January, before a late double from Alfredo Morelos and another from Sheyi Ojo put gloss on the scoreline.
Jones didn’t have any affect on the scoreline as far as scoring or setting up goals, but Gerrard claims that the summer signing posted an ‘outstanding’ performance nonetheless.
He told The Scottish Sun: “Jordan Jones did not get many numbers today in terms of assists or goals, but he was outstanding. Look at our second goal, it was a great move.”
Jones seems to be getting better and better at Rangers.
He had a slow start in a few Europa League qualifiers, but he’s really hitting his stride in recent weeks and his potential really is so exciting.
Gerrard’s side have now scored eight goals in their first two Premiership outings, four less than top-of-the-table Celtic.
