Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers are about to loan one of their prospects to a rival.

Steven Gerrard has confirmed that Rangers winger Glenn Middleton is set to leave on loan ‘after the weekend’.
The Gers boss has revealed that Middleton is on the brink of joining Hibernian for the 2019-20 campaign.
The 19-year-old had looked ‘super close’ to joining a Dutch side on loan, but Gerard reveals that the Rangers personally decided to stay in the Scottish Premiership.
He told The Scottish Sun: “Glenn has decided he wants to go to Hibs on loan so that will happen after the weekend.
“He will go get some experience and play some regular football. He was really close to going to Holland. Super close. But last minute Hibs have shown some interest that he has looked into himself and decided he wants to go pursue that. It was his decision.”
Leaving is the smart choice by Middleton.
Gerrard has an abundance of left-wing options, including Jordan Jones who showed the fans what he’s capable of with a classy display in Europa League qualifying this week.
Middleton is a fine prospect, but he’s still only 19 and a season-long loan in the Scottish Premiership will set him up nicely to return and stake a claim in Rangers’ first XI next season.
The youngster joined the light Blues under Graeme Murty 18 months ago and scored five goals across all competitions last term.
