Speaking to Finnish media outlet YLE, Rangers starlet Serge Atakayi revealed manager Pedro Caixinha vowed to him that he will get his chance to shine.

He was named on the bench for the Gers’ end-of-season win at St Johnstone but manager Pedro Caixinha elected not to throw him into the action.
The jet-heeled Congolese forward was scheduled to make his bow in an earlier clash with Aberdeen, but an injury in the pre-match warm-up ruined his chances.
That being said, Atakayi has revealed to YLE that Caixinha has personally promised that he will get his chance, with the player optimistic that it will come next term.
“Against Aberdeen the coach asked before the game if I was ready, as he was going to use me.
“I promised to do my best, but got injured in the warm-up, and I knew that my chance was gone.
“In the season’s final game, I was 100 per cent sure that the debut would come.
“After 54 minutes, I was asked to warm up and I already saw the debut in front of me. It never happened and I grieved a lot over it.
“The coach talked to me afterwards and vowed that my chance will come. Now that I have been so close, the main objective of my second season is to come in and make my debut.”
Atakayi signed a three-year deal under Warburton – who was sacked in the second half of last season – after failing to impress on trial with Leicester City and Fulham.
