Rangers winger Josh Windass says the dressing room was a happy place after Pedro Caixinha’s sacking.
Rangers got back to winning ways at the weekend immediately after firing manager Pedro Caixinha.
The Gers beat Hearts as they recorded an impressive 3-1 away win at Murrayfield.
It was a week since Rangers had lost in the Scottish League Cup semi-final and then surrendered a lead in the following league game.
With manager Caixinha clashing with several of the players in the squad, it became clear his time at Ibrox had run out and the board pulled the plug on his tenure in Glasgow.
Under-20s boss Graeme Murty took charge at the weekend, and winger Josh Windass said the Rangers dressing room was a happy place.
He told The Telegraph: “There were a lot of smiling faces, a lot of music being played and it seems good to me.
He added: “It’s a good dressing room.”
Windass scored in the 3-1 win, easing the pressure which had been building on his own performances.
The victory lifted Rangers up into third place in the Scottish Premier League, but they remain six points behind relentless leaders and rivals Celtic, who have not lost a domestic game since Brendan Rodgers took over in the summer of 2016.
