Glasgow Rangers right-back James Tavernier speaks highly of his Ibrox teammate Daniel Candeias.

The 26-year-old former Newcastle United defender is one of the best players in his position in the Scottish Premiership and is playing well for Rangers at the moment.
The Englishman has been on the books of the Gers since 2015 when he joined from Wigan Athletic for a transfer fee reported by The Daily Mail to be worth £200,000.
Tavernier has explained how Candeias has helped him this season, with the 29-year-old Portuguese winger having joined Rangers from Benfica in the summer of 2017 for a transfer fee reported by The Glasgow Evening Times to be worth £700,000.

“The addition of Daniel has helped a lot, we’ve got a great understanding,” Tavernier told STV. “In previous years it’s chopped and changed, the wingers I’ve been playing with.
“But me and Daniel have been playing together for a while and it’s helped our relationship. To have that consistency on the right hand side, always helps.”

Message for Graeme Murty?
Tavernier’s comments should be a message for Rangers manager Graeme Murty – that the right-back should be deployed with Candeias in front at all times.
The two Rangers players have formed a good partnership with each other, and it would be best for the team if Murty maintains that for the rest of the season.
