The Ibrox midfielder was speaking after Rangers’ semi-final victory on Sunday.

Davis knows all about the duo having spent time with the pair at the Saints prior to his January loan move back to Ibrox.
Clearly he’s been keeping tabs on their progress in Scotland too, now they play for arch-rivals Celtic.
However, he’s chosen to put rivalry aside and share his delight that the pair are performing well in Scotland after a difficult time at the English Premier League club.
As quoted by The Scottish Sun, he said: “I spent a lot of time with Fraser at Southampton and I’m delighted for him that he’s done quite well since he’s come back up. It’s nice to see him back playing and enjoying his football after a difficult spell, but hopefully on the day I’ll get the bragging rights.
“Elyounoussi was there as well. He had a difficult time because he picked up a couple of niggling injuries. But now he’s playing regularly and has a bit of confidence with his performances, you can see the sort of level he can get to.”
Forster would likely have similar kind words to say about Davis too. The Ibrox man has been in excellent form so far this season, helping the Gers find consistency in a number of different competitions.
All three are likely to face off in the upcoming Scottish League Cup final after both teams progressed comfortably past the semi-final stage over the weekend.

Although they were all stagnating at Southampton, the group have found new life in the Scottish Premiership and Europa League, performing to the level expected from them rather than wasting away on the fringes of the Saints squad.
They’re a great advert for English top-flight players who are thinking about seeking loans to get regular football.
