Glasgow Rangers midfielder Ross McCrorie returns to Ibrox this week having overseen two victories as captain.

Rangers midfielder Ross McCrorie has taken to Twitter to comment on Scotland’s under-21 side’s clash with The Netherlands on Tuesday which saw the Gers ace skipper his country to another win.
McCrorie captained the Scots to a 3-0 victory over Andorra last Thursday, with Everton’s Fraser Hornby scoring a hat-trick to give them a much-needed three points in their battle to qualify for next summer’s European Championships.
And they have kept their hopes of qualifying alive after beating The Netherlands 2-1. Hornby scored both of the visitors’ goals, including a stunner from distance, but once again, it was the Rangers youngster who wore the armband as the Dutch side’s hopes of reaching next summer’s finals were dashed.
And after the game, McCrorie took to social media to express his delight at leading his side to their second victory of the international break ahead of his return to Ibrox.

Here is what McCrorie posted…
It has been a fairly difficult time for McCrorie with the Gers. Steven Gerrard clearly rates the youngster highly, but has been unable to give him a lot of game-time so far this season.
He is too good to be forgotten about by any means, but his performances during this international break will certainly help remind the Rangers hierarchy of his potential. And the leadership that he has shown perhaps acts as a sign of things to come for club and country.
