Rangers winger Barrie McKay has been linked with a move away from Ibrox.
Rangers star Kenny Miller has told the Glasgow Evening Times that speculation of a £6million move to Leipzig is ‘huge’ for team-mate Barrie McKay.
McKay, 22, joined Rangers from Kilmarnock in 2011, and whilst his first four years weren’t much to write home about having struggled to get in the Gers side and spent loan spells with Greenock Morton and Raith Rovers, he has become a star under Mark Warburton.

Warburton got the best out of McKay last season, as he hit nine goals in 48 appearances, whilst playing a key role in Rangers’ promotion to the Scottish Premiership.
This term, McKay has blown hot and cold, but his recent performances have suggested that he’s getting back to his best, as he was superb in the recent 2-1 home defeat to Old Firm rivals Celtic.
In fact, McKay’s recent displays have even triggered transfer speculation, as the Daily Record claimed last week that Bundesliga side RB Leipzig are interested in signing McKay.

The German outfit – who beat Rangers 4-0 in a friendly earlier this month – already have one Scottish winger on their books in Oliver Burke, and could make a £6million move for McKay according to reports.
The rumours have sparked questions over McKay’s long-term future at Ibrox, and team-mate Kenny Miller has offered his thoughts to the Glasgow Evening Times, claiming that the speculation is ‘huge’ for McKay.
Miller did admit that McKay has had his ups and downs, but wants him to stay at Rangers as he has been excellent under Warburton, and has a huge future ahead of him.
“Barrie has been in the team pretty much since the manager came to the club 18 months ago,” said Miller. “He has had his ups, he has had his downs. He has had spells where he has been very good and he has had spells where he has been quieter. He is 22 and there is a real spotlight on him now playing for Rangers every week.”
“He is a young player in the team, he has been linked with £6million moves to the team that is second in the Bundesliga and that is huge for him. All I can say is that I would love him to be in the team and he is performing at a really high level. For me, he has been at the highest level and the most consistent since the manager has come in,” he added.
