Mark Warburton’s Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers were thumped by Celtic.

“Just wait until next time” was the message from Rangers star Josh Windass after being informed about how Scott Brown described Celtic’s win in last weekend’s Old Firm at Parkhead.
Quoted by The Mail, the Celtic captain said it was “pretty much men versus boys at the end of the day” after Brendan Rodgers’s side thumped Rangers 5-1.

It was a hugely demoralising defeat for the Gers, who went into the game with justified optimism of rattling the Bhoys and moving top of the Scottish Premiership, but it did not turn out that way.
At 3-1 down, Rangers defender Philippe Senderos was sent off for a second yellow card, which seemed to contribute to the severity of the defeat.
They will not face each other again in the Premiership until December 31, and Windass is already looking forward to the prospect of revenge when Celtic visit Ibrox.

Windass said to Rangers’ official YouTube channel when asked about Brown’s comments: “Is that what he said? He can say what he wants, can’t he?
“I can’t speak for Scott Brown. He played reasonably well on the day, and fair play they beat us, but just wait until next time.”
One thing is clear: Rangers must improve before then – and they will. Warburton signed 12 players during the summer, and it’ll take a little more than five games for them all to adapt to life in Glasgow.
