Rangers were determined to bring Glen Kamara in early

Steven Gerrard’s decision to push to sign Glen Kamara in the recent transfer window is paying off already.

Kamara has made an instant impact at Ibrox, adding more balance to the Rangers midfield.

The former Dundee and Arsenal midfielder has already become a must start for Rangers.

His performance for Rangers against Hamilton at the weekend came just days after a dominant display against Kilmarnock in the Scottish Cup.

Kamara does not shy away the ball, and is always making himself available for a teammate to pass to.

Coming into a side mid-season is tough, especially as Kamara missed out on Rangers’ mid-season training camp.

That’s what makes Kamara’s performance even more impressive.

He has stepped in and played well, yet there is so much more to come from him.

How good will Kamara be for Rangers when Steven Gerrard gets proper time to work with him, a full pre-season, and he gets to know his teammates better?

It’s a scary prospect.

Kamara looks like he could be a key part of the Ranger team for a long time, and his potential is sky high.

He could be a future league winner for Rangers, whether it’s this season, or in the next two to three years.
