Many great players over the years have had odd rituals that they do before, during or after a game, and judging by their legacies they were well within their rights to try them.
It turns out one of the best players in the world right now also had an unusual habit back at Anfield. As reported by Daily Express, former teammate Danny Wilson spoke about the Uruguayan and what exactly it was that he did.
Wilson, now at Rangers, was discussing Suarez and his time at Anfield. The defender is back at Ibrox following three years with Liverpool.
“The strange thing was he never used to tie his boots when he was training.” he said when speaking to Rangers TV.

And on the forward, Wilson added: “Every day Suarez trained and you see he’s one of the best now, so it’s got to be him (the best player he ever trained with).”
Suarez has had many controversies over the years, but above all else he is still a phenomenal footballer as he is continuing to prove in his current tenure at Barcelona.
Despite the seemingly unsafe ritual, it appears to have worked wonders over the years for the 29-year-old as he continues to write his name into footballing history with his performances.
