Ryan Jack has extended his contract with Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers.

Rangers announced this week that Ryan Jack had signed a new contract.
Jack, who joined the Gers from Aberdeen in 2017, put pen to paper on a new deal that keeps him tied to the Ibrox club until 2023.
And if you’re a Rangers fan, you must be absolutely buzzing over that announcement.
The Scottish midfielder is such a very important part of Steven Gerrard’s side, evident by their results over the past month.
Yes, Rangers had a barnstorming September, but the 27-year-old hasn’t been available for most of the light Blues’ last three games – a 2-1 defeat at Young Boys, when he left the field injured on 65 minutes, a 5-0 win over Hamilton and a 1-1 draw with Hearts.
It isn’t a stretch to suggest that Jack’s absence in midfield was heavily felt in the second half in Switzerland and at Tynecastle this past weekend.
Two more good months and Rangers might’ve faced some difficulty in keeping hold of him during the January transfer window, but this extension ensures that he’s probably going nowhere.
Not only that, but it might also ensure that Jack – who turns 28 in February – is going to be giving his best years to the Glasgow giants.
That’s almost certainly not going to happen with Alfredo Morelos, while James Tavernier was heavily linked with a move away this past summer.
You get the feeling that much of the speculation this January could centre around outgoings rather than incomings, but Rangers fans should rest safe in the knowledge that one player definitely staying put is one of their best players in Jack.
