Ryan Jack has told Rangers’ official website that he was telling friends and family that the atmosphere at Ibrox during one of his most recent visits was one of the best he has experienced during his career.

Jack became Pedro Caixinha’s second signing of the summer, with BBC Sport reporting that the former Aberdeen midfielder had signed a three-year deal following the expiration of his contract with the Dons.

And the midfielder has explained upon completing his move, how the atmosphere when he played at the Gers’ home left a lasting impression on him.

“I’ve mentioned before to friends and family that the 2-1 game when Rangers beat Aberdeen here, the atmosphere that I experienced that day was probably the best I have experienced in my career,” he told the club’s official website.

“Obviously I was on the losing side that day and it was a difficult one to take, but it’s atmospheres like that, and the European nights under the lights, you want to play in.

What may excite Jack particularly is that the game he felt compelled to tell others about came during a season where the Light Blues were disappointing, and thus, gave the supporters little to shout about.

If Caixinha can build upon the incredibly promising start that the club have made to the summer by continuing to bring a number of new faces in, then perhaps the Gers will be able to start giving their fans something to be genuinely excited about.

And if that proves to be the case, then perhaps the atmosphere around Ibrox this coming season will move to another level.
