Joe Aribo joined Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers in the summer transfer window.
Joe Aribo of Rangers
Rangers midfielder Joe Aribo has revealed to The Scottish Sun that he is a Manchester United fan.
Aribo joined Rangers in the summer transfer window after leaving Charlton Athletic in England at the end of last season.
The 22-year-old has also suggested that he should not say it in public that he is a United fan given that Rangers manager Steven Gerrard is a Liverpool legend.
Aribo told The Scottish Sun: “I don’t think I should say this knowing how much the gaffer was a hero to me . . . but I grew up supporting Man United!”
Good signing for Rangers
Aribo played well for Charlton last season and was a key figure in the Addicks winning promotion from League One to the Championship in England via the playoffs.

The midfielder is young and energetic, and he will bring a certain degree of dynamism and vibrancy to the Rangers midfield.
Rangers finished second in the Scottish Premiership table last season and will be aiming to challenge bitter Old Firm rivals Celtic for the league title during the 2019-20 campaign.
As for Manchester United, the Red Devils will be looking to finish in the top four of the Premier League next season.
