Graeme Murty’s Glasgow Rangers have brought Greg Docherty to Ibrox. The midfielder is a lifelong Gers fan.

Greg Docherty has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his delight at signing for Ibrox club Rangers.
Rangers have announced on their official website that they have signed Docherty from Hamilton Academical in the January transfer window.
The Gers have secured the services of the 21-year-old midfielder on a four-and-a-half-year contract.
The Scotland Under-21 international has taken to Twitter and Instagram to express his delight at signing for Rangers and has sent an emotional message to Hamilton.

Meanwhile, Rangers manager Graeme Murty has suggested to the club’s official website why the Gers have signed Docherty.
Murty told Rangers’ official website: “It’s another bit of business for another young, hungry player desperate to enhance our group.
“When you see the players gelling and the improvements we’ve made, it’s an exciting time for players – and for me as a manager. I want to manage people who are hungry to improve.”

Docherty is a very talented and promising young midfielder who can only get better, especially working under a coach like Murty who knows how to handle youngsters.
As stated on Rangers’ official website, the playmaker scored three goals in 25 appearances for Hamilton this season.
It could take the youngster some time to settle into life at Rangers, but the Ibrox faithful should be optimistic that he will prove to a great signing in the long run.
