Glasgow Rangers brought Glen Kamara to Ibrox during the January transfer window.

It may have surprised some supporters when Rangers decided to bring Glen Kamara to Ibrox in the final hours of the January transfer window having already agreed a pre-contract deal with the midfielder.
The Gers were already well-stocked for players in the middle of the park, and it looked set to be a difficult task for the youngster to hit the ground running having spent the first-half of the campaign with a Dundee side that have propped up the Scottish Premiership table throughout the year.
But just a couple of months into his Ibrox spell, it is perhaps fair to suggest that Steven Gerrard will do well to pull off a more inspired move during the rest of his tenure with Rangers.
The Daily Record reports that he cost the Gers just £45,000. And given his performances so far, it seems that Kamara has already repaid that fee and there should be serious excitement about what he can do in the future.

Not only has Kamara been superb at breaking up play and providing some composure in front of the defence, but he is also having an impact in the final third.
It was his sumptuous pass that set up Jermain Defoe for the opener in the 3-1 win against Hearts at the weekend, while he also scored against his former club back in February.

Despite the depth Rangers have in midfield, Kamara is establishing himself as one of the first names on the teamsheet in Gerrard’s side at the moment. Signing him up early appears to have been a masterstroke ahead of next season.
And it still looks staggering that he cost just £45,000.
