With Rangers confident of appointing Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard as the Ibrox club’s manager, according to BT Sport, the Gers should start looking at targets in the summer transfer window.

One player that Rangers should look at is Yan Dhanda. Gerrard would know him well as the Liverpool Under-18 manager, and the 19-year-old would be a great addition to the Gers’ team.

Up & Coming Award winner Yan Dhanda poses during the Second Annual Asian Football Awards at Wembley Stadium on October 8, 2013 in London, England.

The 19-year-old operates as an attacking midfielder and loves to play in the number 10 role, just off the main striker.

Dhanda can also play out wide on the left and is hugely creative, and having been part of Liverpool, the teenager would have no problem whatsoever in turning out for Rangers, another massive and well-supported club in the world.

A regular member of the Liverpool Under-23 side, Dhanda would benefit from spending the 2018-19 campaign at Rangers and getting some competitive football.

If Gerrard becomes the Rangers manager, then it is likely that he will target players from the Liverpool academy, and Dhanda should be on his radar.
