Rangers have been busy this month in the transfer market.

Head coach Graeme Murty of Scottish club Rangers FC calls a play during the second half of their game against Brazilian club Corinthians during their Florida Cup soccer game at Orlando...

Rangers manager Graeme Murty has already completed deals for five new players at Ibrox, but his investment in the Scottish giants is not expected to stop there.

The 43-year-old manager is close to confirming four loan signings from England, in Brighton winger Jamie Murphy, QPR midfielder Sean Goss, Norwich City defender Russell Martin and Nottingham Forest striker Jason Cummings.

Rangers have also confirmed the permanent signing of former Cardiff City left-back Declan John, as well as recalling Andy Halliday from FK Gabala and Michael O’Halloran from St. Johnstone.

Theo Walcott of Arsenal arrives at the stadium prior to the Premier League match between AFC Bournemouth and Arsenal at Vitality Stadium on January 14, 2018 in Bournemouth, England.

In what is a considerably new-look squad in Glasgow, Murty is not expected to stop there and could do with another winger in the squad with Aaron Nemane leaving to join Eredivisie side Go Ahead Eagles after his Man City loan ended.

Murty needs a bargain deal to give him another option out wide, and is likely to target either the Premier League or the Championship once again. It should see the former Reading defender’s attention turn to Merseyside.

Sky Sports claim Arsenal speed machine Theo Walcott is set to join Everton in a £20million deal, in what is a major coup for the Toffees. But that is set to push a number of Toffes wingers down the pecking order, and David Henen will be wondering what he has left in Merseyside.

The Belgium Under-21 international has just a matter of months remaining on his current contract, and the powerful speed machine would surely be allowed to leave Goodison Park as he is yet to make a senior appearance for the Toffees.

Making 45 Premier League 2 appearances since joining Everton from Olympiakos, the former Anderlecht and Monaco forward has had a hand in a goal every three games – scoring 10 times and adding five assists.

Predominantly a left winger, 21-year-old Henen can play on both flanks and up front and is known for his blistering speed and close control. The Gers are lacking in speed, other than new signing Murphy, and Henen would give Murty something different.

A bargain this month, Henen would give the Gers so much more ammunition in attack.
