The Australian international could make the perfect addition at Ibrox for Mark Warburton’s Rangers side.
Rangers boss Mark Warburton will be looking to make improvements in the January transfer window however, his hands are still slightly tied by the club’s financial situation.
Transfer fees are rarely spent, when they are they are minimal, and loan deals and freebies seem to be the order at Ibrox.
One player they must consider in that case is Australian international striker Jamie MacLaren.

The Brisbane Roar striker is seemingly not going to sign a new deal at the club, leaving him potentially up for grabs in January on the cheap.
The A-League side’s managing director Mark Kingsman even admitted as much, telling Fox Sports:
“We haven’t received any offers yet, but you can never predict what’s going to happen.
“But we still want to keep him at the club. There’s still plenty of time. (Roar coach) John Aloisi will sit down again with him next week.”

So should Rangers make a move?
MacLaren, who spent four years on the books at Blackburn Rovers, has been in great form for his current club Brisbane Roar ever since leaving Perth Glory in 2015.
He scored 20 goals in 25 A-League games last season and has four in eight so far this campaign.

With doubts over the future of Martyn Waghorn Rangers boss Mark Warburton will need another striking option at Ibrox.
Maclaren would be cheap and potentially deadly in Scottish football. He must be an option they consider.
