Rangers are facing a battle to bring Ryan Kent back to Ibrox.

Glasgow Rangers are facing a fight to re-sign popular loanee Ryan Kent.
The Yorkshire Evening Post report that Leeds are keen on a deal for the player who impressed at Ibrox last season.
One thing which could influence Rangers’ chances is a potential delay in a decision over Kent’s future.
The Daily Record reported a fortnight ago that Liverpool would prefer to hold off on letting Kent go until manager Jurgen Klopp has seen him in pre-season.
This is much better for Rangers than it would be for Leeds, who in mid-July will be off to Australia.
Rangers by contrast will be playing their Europa League qualifying fixtures.

This could stoke Kent’s competitive nature, and the lure of wanting to play European football once again could help persuade the winger to head to Ibrox.
The further the transfer window drags out, Kent could also grow more anxious. Joining up with a familiar team would be more desirable at late notice.
There are arguments against joining Rangers.
Kent may want a totally fresh challenge, and a move to Leeds would be just that. Getting the chance to learn under Marcelo Bielsa is a once in a career opportunity he may not want to turn down.
However if Liverpool delay making a decision over Kent’s future, then it can play into Rangers’ hands.
