The Rangers winger is Steven Gerrard’s most expensive Ibrox recruit by some distance.

The Rangers winger, Ryan Kent, has responded to being asked whether he feels extra pressure to deliver in game’s like Thursday’s because of his transfer fee.
Kent joined Rangers on a permanent deal from Liverpool in early September, and it is claimed he could eventually cost the Gers as much as £7.5 million.
An injury problem has restricted the 22-year-old to just two starts this season across all competitions, the most recent of which came in the Europa League draw against Porto.
The Portuguese giants are next up at Ibrox. And speaking via Rangers’ official Youtube channel ahead of the tie, Kent insisted there’ll be no added nerves from him.
“I think there’s an element of pressure in every game that I play in,” he reasoned.
“Number one, playing for Rangers is pressure alone. You’re expected to go and deliver out on the pitch and give the fans what they want.

“Me personally, I give myself challenges for every game. I expect myself to go and put in good performances every game. I treat every game the same.”
The Rangers manager, Steven Gerrard, had earlier revealed that, Jordan Jones aside, the Gers have a clean bill of health for Porto.
