Glasgow Rangers brought Ryan Jack to Ibrox in 2017 and he is now establishing himself as a key man for Steven Gerrard’s men.

It has not always been easy for Ryan Jack since he joined Rangers ahead of the start of last season. But when the Ibrox faithful decide who has been their most impressive player in recent weeks, it is difficult to see how any name other than Jack could be put forward.
The midfielder is easily playing the finest football of his Gers spell so far. He was fantastic against Hibernian on Wednesday, but it was not a one-off performance from the Scotland international. He has stood out by some distance for several games now.
Understandably, the deal to sign Allan McGregor on a free transfer is looking like the most inspired piece of business in recent times. McGregor has been a colossus in his second spell at Rangers and already produced several man of the match performances and game-changing saves.
But it is easy to forget that Jack also arrived on a free. And given that fact, the deal to bring him in from Aberdeen is starting to look like a masterstroke.

Jack has already proven that he is one of the best holding midfielders in the Scottish Premiership. But he is now also shining in the more advanced role Steven Gerrard has deployed him in lately.
The 26-year-old is now establishing himself alongside McGregor and Alfredo Morelos as one of the most important players in the current squad.
His form has gone to a completely different level lately. And if he keeps it up, it will not be long until the deal to sign Jack is heralded as much as the move for McGregor rightfully is.
