Ryan Hardie, who’s on the books at Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers, has reacted to Celtic’s draw today.

Ryan Hardie of St Mirren misses a fine chance during the match beTFRED Cup Group Stage match between St Mirren and Edinburgh City at St Mirren Park on July 30, 2016 in Paisley, Scotland.

Rangers-owned Ryan Hardie has reacted to Celtic’s result with Livingston this afternoon.

The Hoops dominated the contest but were ultimately held to a goalless draw away to the Tigers.

Tom Rogic thought he had won it late on for Celtic, but Livingston keeper Liam Kelly – sold by Rangers boss Steven Gerrard in the summer for an undisclosed fee– pulled off a fantastic save.

Hardie is on loan there from Rangers, and here’s how the young striker reacted to the result:

Celtic still moved top of the Scottish Premiership in spite of the draw, but they’re only ahead of Hearts on goal difference.

Hardie has only managed 12 minutes of football for Livingston this season due to injury, and the 21-year-old, who helped the club to Premiership promotion last term during a separate loan, has revealed that he should be back by December following ankle surgery.

Hardie earned a new contract at Rangers toward the end of last season after impressing in the Championship, and this isn’t the way that he’ll have wanted to spend the 2018-19 campaign.

But he has shown plenty of promise in recent years and scoring goals in the top flight might well convince the Gers to sign him up again.
