Glasgow Rangers youngster Ryan Hardie, who left Ibrox on loan in the summer, made his comeback after several months on the sidelines.
Rangers-owned forward Ryan Hardie took to Twitter to express his delight after making his comeback from injury during the latter stages of Livingston’s latest Scottish Premiership clash.
Hardie left the Gers on loan in the summer, but returned to Livi while already sidelined having sustained the injury towards the end of last season. He was recently rewarded with a new contract at Ibrox, but will know how important this season could be for his Light Blues career.
And while he went into the weekend still awaiting his first appearance of the campaign, he has taken a big step towards getting the chance to prove himself to Rangers as came on for the final 12 minutes of the Scottish Premiership clash with Hamilton, which Livi won 1-0 thanks to an early Steven Lawless goal.
Unsurprisingly, Hardie could not hide his excitement on social media after the game as he commented on his spell on the sidelines as well as his return to action.

With Hardie never quite managing to force his way into the plans at Ibrox, it is perhaps imperative that he makes an impact during this loan spell, especially now that Livi find themselves in the top flight.
He showed some of his potential with eight goals in 16 league games last term, and a repeat of that sort of strike-rate – once he gets back up to speed – should certainly make Steven Gerrard sit up and take notice.
But for now, Hardie can rightfully enjoy getting back out on the pitch after a lengthy absence.
