It looks like Rangers talent Ross McCausland fulfilled a lifelong dream by scoring against Celtic on Sunday.

The Gers romped into the next round of the Scottish Youth Cup by thumping the Bhoys 5-0.

The 16-year-old midfielder made it 3-0 to Rangers on 65 minutes, with Celtic going on to concede twice more during a rotten afternoon for the young Hoops.

Here’s how McCausland reacted to the win on Twitter:

McCausland, who signed a first professional contract at Auchenhowie in September, helped Rangers to an Alkass International Cup win earlier in 2019 and it seems like he’s going places.

The likes of Armstrong Okoflex and Karamoko Dembele were absent for Celtic, with the exciting pair both being under 18.

Both are fine talents but it might not have made that much difference by virtue of the light Blues’ winning margin.

It remains to be seen who Rangers will face in the third round of the competition.
