Rangers were reportedly looking to bring Harvey St Clair to Ibrox.

Rangers have a whole host of attackers at their disposal now, but they seemingly had another one in their sights in recent times.
The Gers landed Greg Stewart, Jordan Jones, Sheyi Ojo, Jake Hastie, Brandon Barker and Ryan Kent this summer, bolstering their options both for now and for the future.
One other name touted in recent times was Scottish talent Harvey St Clair, with The Sunday Post reporting last year that he was on the Rangers radar.
Rangers were allegedly watching his progress with Italian side Venezia ahead of a possible summer move, with coach Michael Beale familiar with him from their time together at Chelsea.
The 20-year-old forward didn’t enjoy the best of seasons though, managing just two goals and two assists in 16 appearance for Venezia following his surprise move to Italy.
Rangers seemingly decided that he wasn’t worth pursuing at this stage in his career, instead signing other wingers and attackers – but he has still ended up coming back to Scotland.

St Clair has penned a season-long loan deal with Scottish Premiership rivlas Kilmarnock, meaning he will now be right under Rangers’ nose, and they will surely watch his progress with Killie this season.
This is a great opportunity for Rangers to track his progress and see whether he can be a force in Scotland’s top flight, though a move still ultimately looks unlikely.
Rangers have Stewart, Jones, Hastie, Barker and Kent signed up for years to come as well as a talented young winger in Josh McPake, so it’s hard to see where St Clair fits in, even if Beale appears to rate him.
