Steven Gerrard’s Glasgow Rangers reportedly want Lassana Coulibaly at Ibrox.

Rangers are interested in bringing Lassana Coulibaly from Angers to Ibrox in the summer transfer window, according to The Scottish Sun.

It has been reported that Rangers manager Steven Gerrard is considering making a loan bid for Coulibaly for the 2018-19 campaign.

Coulibaly is a very talented and promising young playmaker, and the Angers rising star would be a good signing for Rangers.

The 22-year-old made eight starts and 12 substitute appearances in Ligue 1 for Angers last season, scoring one goal and providing two assists in the process, according to WhoScored.

The French top flight is a much better and more competitive domestic league than the Scottish Premiership, and the signs suggest that the Mali international would be a good signing for Rangers.
