Rangers have already tied up a number of signings this summer, and they’re being linked with many more as Steven Gerrard looks to bolster his squad.

The Gers have brought in Ianis Hagi and Jermain Defoe permanently after loan spells, whilst Charlie Lindsay and Calvin Bassey have arrived as talents for the future.

There could be more signings of that ilk to come, and midfielder Dion McGhee appears to be one option for the Gers following his exit from Manchester United.

The Daily Star claim that Rangers are in the race to sign McGhee. Wolverhampton Wanderers, West Ham United and Derby County are also thought to be keen.

McGhee, 19, is an attacking midfield player who has come up through the ranks with his boyhood club United, and spent three years in their setup.

The youngster is now set to move on this summer, and the left-footed talent could now head to Ibrox to play under Steven Gerrard.

Rangers fans may not know too much about McGhee, but some United fans seem pretty disappointed to hear that he will be leaving the club this summer.

Some branded McGhee a ‘baller’ and an ‘unreal talent’, believing that he has real potential to become a star somewhere else after leaving Old Trafford.
