Competition for Rangers
The Ibrox club, though, will reportedly face competition for the services of the 21-year-old former England Under-20 international.
According to The Scottish Sun, Hibernian want the youngster back at Easter Road following his loan spell at the Scottish Premiership club during the 2017-18 season.

The report has also claimed that Hull City are among several clubs in the Championship in England who want to secure the services of the youngster.
It has also been reported that City would be open to a permanent move for Barker, but Rangers manager Gerrard is claimed to want a loan deal for now.

Good signing for Rangers?
Barker did well for Hibernian in 2017-18 season, as he scored two goals and provided five assists in 27 Scottish Premiership appearances for Hibernian, according to Transfermarkt.com.
While the former England Under-20 international is still quite raw and is developing, a season-long loan deal would not be a bad move from Rangers.
