Graeme Murty’s Glasgow Rangers reportedly want to bring Jack Hendry to Ibrox. Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic are linked as well.

It has been reported that Graeme Murty’s Rangers are preparing a late bid for the defender, and that Celtic could face competition to secure the services of the 22-year-old today.

The Daily Record has reported that the Hoops have made a £1 million bid for the Dundee defender, having seen their initial offer of £500,000 turned down.
The report has also claimed that Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers is desperate to secure the services of Hendry before the transfer window closes tonight.

Rangers are looking good defensively at the moment, but given Hendry’s quality and potential, one should not be surprised if the Ibrox club do make a move for the youngster on deadline day.
This means that Celtic will have to hurry up, and Dundee could well play hardball and perhaps reject the Hoops’ £1m offer, knowing fully well that the Scottish Premiership leaders will have to increase their bid given the competition they are now reportedly facing from Rangers.
