Glasgow Rangers manager Steven Gerrard reportedly wants former Gers striker Kyle Lafferty at Ibrox.
Jose Enrique competes with Kyle Lafferty, then at Rangers
Ibrox club Rangers have made a bid of £200,000 for Lafferty, according to STV, which has also claimed that Scottish Premiership rivals Hearts have turned it down as it is below their valuation of the striker.
Steven Gerrard’s side reportedly made the approach for the 30-year-old Northern Ireland international striker on Thursday.
Second bid from Rangers?
Lafferty was on the books of Rangers from 2008 until 2012 and was successful during his time at Ibrox.
The striker has done well for Hearts, and given his extensive experience in Scottish football, one can understand why Rangers are interested in him.

Rangers do need a proven goalscorer this season in order to challenge Old Firm rivals Celtic for the Scottish Premiership title.
While Alfredo Morelos and Umar Sadiq are very talented, the two strikers are quite young and are still developing as footballers.
Lafferty knows what it is like to play for Rangers, and one should not be surprised if the Gers make a second bid for the former Norwich City striker.
